  I recently purchased a dishwasher from a big box store and the delivery did not contain a power cord. Instead of paying an astronomical fee to have the cord conversion kit sent to me in three days, I called Doyon's Appliance and they had one on hand for a comparable price. When I stopped in to purchase the cord, they took the time to show me, on one of their floor models, how the cord attached. Will they do that on a floor model at a big box store? Probably not. I will definitely think of them first when purchasing another major home appliance.
